Common questions
Where is my data stored?
Your logs and profile live on your device. When iCloud sync is available, Apple keeps the synced copy in your private iCloud account. Gritr does not require an account.
Why does AI Photo Scan need a connection?
The optional AI scanner sends the selected photo to Gritr's scan service and Anthropic for analysis. The on-device photo recognizer remains available without an upload.
How do I restore Gritr Pro?
Open Gritr, go to Profile, open Gritr Pro, and select Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
How do I delete my data?
Open Profile, choose Preferences, then select Delete All Data. iCloud data can also be managed from your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
How do I report a problem?
Email johnmontalvo6944@gmail.com with the iPhone model, iOS version, and what happened. Do not include health information you do not want to share.
